Three ways to find your size

  1. Measure a ring you own

Print the sizer below, then place a ring that fits the intended finger over the circles.

  2. Is it a surprise?

Ask their friends or family if they know the ring size. Or borrow one of their rings, from the correct finger, and measure it on the circles.

  3. Still unsure?

Our guide is a good start, but your local jeweller can give you a personal size assessment and help you avoid resizing.

Measure a ring you own

  1. Choose a ring that fits the intended finger.
  2. Place it over the circle that looks closest in size.
  3. Match the inside edge of the ring to the circle.
  4. If the ring falls between two circles, order the larger size.
  5. Double check the size before you order.

Check the print scale

Before you measure, check each bar is exactly 30 mm and 1 inch long. If not, print again with page scaling set to None or 100%.

Each circle matches the inside edge of a ring.

No printer? Size the circles on screen

Hold a bank card flat against the screen and move the slider until the outline matches the card. The circles resize to match. Printing is still the most accurate way.

Tips for measuring your ring size

  • Your ring should fit comfortably

Snug enough that it won't fall off, but loose enough to slide over your knuckle.

  • Measure at the end of the day

Finger size changes with the time of day and the weather. Measure when your fingers are warm in the evening, not in the morning or when cold, and measure 3 to 4 times to rule out a wrong reading.

  • Skip the string and paper

String and paper can stretch or twist, which gives an inaccurate measurement.
